S4, Ep 1: After some years in a Russian prison, Alan B'stard is released but returns to find himself out of a job. Piers is due to be elevated to the House of Lords, while wife Sarah has declared him dead, taken his money, and become engaged to Otto Von Munchweiller, MEP for East Germany. Needless to say, Alan is not happy and plots his revenge...
Starring Rik Mayall, Marsha Fitzalan, Michael Troughton, Terence Alexander, Benedick Blythe, Elizabeth Banks, Nicholas Colicos, Timothy Morand, Robert Scofield and John Warnaby. This kickstarted the 4th and final series of the sitcom, first broadcast on November 22nd 1992, 18 months after the previous series and with the series now focused on Alan trying to become a member of the EU (obviously giving up hope of kicking the Tory Party after they won the 1992 election that year).. They feels like a series too far and the methods in which Alan resorts to revenge on his wife Sarah is horrifying. Alan B'stard is back, but it rather leaves a nasty taste in the mouth.
