Have just come back from my appointment with the surgeon. It was a 4.6cm Oncocytoma. Can’t prove in a biopsy, so had to remove whole tumour to confirm. It’s not a cancer and had not grown outside of the kidney I had removed so this is the very best news I could have hoped for.
Found this on Google: Renal oncocytoma is a rare, typically benign (non-cancerous) tumor originating from kidney collecting duct cells, often found incidentally. This will be the last update for quite a while. I'm battling kidney cancer and have to go into hospital this Thursday for surgery to have one of my kidney's removed. I'm told it will be a long recovery so don't know when or if I'll be back on my computer depending on what they find.
Hopefully I'll pull through this and be able to re-open my OK site for you all to enjoy.
